Iranian film ‘No Choice’ wins three awards at Asiatica Film Festival

Iranian feature ‘No Choice’ wins three awards at the 2020 Asiatica Film Festival in Italy.

Iranian feature film ‘No Choice’ (We Have To) has grabbed three main awards of the 21st edition of the Asiatica Film Festival in Italy.

No Choice’, directed by Reza Dormishian, won the Best Film, the Best Audience, and the Best NETPAC awards at the festival.

The film is starring Fatemeh Motamed-Arya, Negar Javaheriyan, and Parsa Pirouzfar. The film’s cast also includes Maryam Boubani and Parivash Nazariyeh.

The film has formerly participated in the 33rd Tokyo International Film Festival in Japan.

Established in 2000 as a channel of communication between Italy and Asia, the Asiatica Film Festival offers three awards of City of Rome Award for Best Feature Film in competition, NETPAC Award (Network for Promotion of Asian Cinema), and Audience Award.

The 2020 edition of the event was held on December 18-22.
